Re: Sponsorship of Warilla Sports Cricket Club

As the leading club in South Coast cricket Warilla Sports Cricket Club has a record of excellence in both senior and junior competition.

Our club plays against eight other clubs, from Lake Illawarra in the North to Gerringong in the South and west to Albion Park.

Warilla’s first grade side are back-to-back first grade premiers, while our second, third and fourth grade are always contenders for their respective premierships.

Our club’s strength is demonstrated by the fact Warilla won the South Coast Club Championship for 2003-2004.

We can offer as number of sponsorship arrangements to interested parties for the entire club or a particular side, from first grade to under 10s.

All sponsors receive advertising and publicity in our club’s successful newsletter, Kookas Call and on our website Kookas Online -which will include a direct link from our website to your website.

Sponsors are also invited to all club functions, including end of season presentation, Christmas Party, golf day and trivia night.

On field sponsorship includes naming rights and advertising on playing shirts for any of our sides, direct exposure to players and spectators via signs at Oakleigh Park, home ground of the Kookas. This signage is often seen on WIN TV News and in photos taken by the Illawarra Mercury, Lake Times and South Coast Register newspapers.

Off field sponsorship includes advertising on club shirts worn to and from games and at club functions. Those interested can also sponsor training shirts, caps, water bottles and end of season trophies.

The club is embarking on an ambitious plan to revive our junior program. First grade players are scheduled to visit schools in the South Coast area as part of a recruitment program. Our club offers unrivalled coaching opportunities for juniors and has established a junior committee to help rebuild our under 16 and 10 sides.

2005-2006 is set to be one of the Kookas’ biggest seasons for functions off the field. The club is planning to again hold regular events such as the Christmas Party and presentation, along with the golf day, which was introduced in 2003-2004.

Also on the agenda for the new season are a trivia night, preseason fundraising drive and visit to the SCG for an international match.

Warilla Sports Cricket Club has produced several representative players.

Many players have represented Southern Zone and South Coast in open, Colts, under 19, and 16 divisions.
